About the Author

L.G. Bavaro was born in Baltimore Maryland in 1960. At the age of 4, became interested in music and the arts. He was either drawing pictures, banging on toy drums and attempting to play an organ in his home. In elementary school, through high school, wrote plays or short skits as school projects to prove his knowledge of certain subjects, instead of writing lengthy reports. His teachers never failed to mention creativity along with day dreaming on his report cards. He had one of the first cases of A-D-D, always day dreaming.. 

      Playing music and songwriting had become the major focus of his life, in which he was semi-successful in performing on a local level, but not the songwriting. At age 18 he set out to write what was to be his first book. Unfortunately, the flow of his thoughts to paper were not realized due to the inadequate tools of the trade. In short, he could not write as fast as he could think. Now that technology has caught up with him, putting his thoughts to paper or computer screen has become a total feasibility as he reawakens his journey, putting his imagination into writing.

    His whimsical and inventive spirit now thrives in book form by the grace of God., and  a way to close out his life.  L.G now lives just outside of Baltimore in Pasadena, Md. with his son James, the inspiration for the main character in 'My Spaceship' and his dog...Dena the Jack russ who also makes a few appearences in the book. He has been a  licensed aircraft Pilot since 1990, he still writes songs and plays the drums.
